Ms D M T Nilmimi Dissanayake obtained a BA (hons) degree in Japanese, sociology and mass communication from the University of Kelaniya and then completed a Masters degree in Sociology at the same university. She subsequently read for a Post Graduate Diploma in Education from the National Institute of Education followed by a Diploma in Development School Management. She is fluent in Japanese and has studied in Japan, where she is the Sri Lankan representative and a Director of the Nihon Wellness Sports University.
